I have been an animal lover my entire life. I always had dogs growing up and have been rescuing and saving them, among other animals since I was a child. From a very young age I knew I wanted to be a vet and worked at most of the animal hospitals in town. I chose my college based on the veterinary medical program, and did my internship at the Baltimore Zoo. I realized in college I had a strong emotional attachment to my patients (the animals) so I decided to focus on the behavioral/training side of things. I am most fulfilled when I am able to help a dog and owner work together to conquer an issue. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the bond grow between the owner and dog after they work together to strive and accomplish things. I am constantly working, studying, and observing dogs behaviors more closely, which in turn helps me grow as a trainer and only makes me more of an asset to my clients. – Megan
